2009 has been a groundbreaking year for visual art in Nottingham, with the opening of Nottingham Contemporary, the development of New Art Exchange and the continuing growth of independent studios around the city, not to mention the launch of Nottingham Visual Arts!

We wish you a peaceful Christmas and a very happy and successful new year.  With The British Art Show and Fringe coming up in November and loads more happening across the city, 2010 will be yet another high point in the evolution of Nottingham's thriving artistic communities.
