So, what do you think of it so far?

Nottingham Visual Arts is a forum for writing, reviews, a comprehensive directory of visual arts organisations and groups and lots more.

So, what do you think of it so far? This week we talk to Alex Farquharson about the reception to Nottingham Contemporary's opening programme and ask two artists who moved away from the city to feedback on Hockney/Stark and the new building. Painter Geoff Diego Litherland talks about pooh, (quite literally,) and we urge you to take the 2010 challenge with artist Amelia Beavis-Harrison.

Once again, the coming days ahead provide exhibition launches and screenings galore. It was great to see so many at The Wasp Room last night for the cardboard clad launch of Naomi Terry's show, and tonight we recommend the launch event of Tacitly Speaking at Backlit. Lastly don't forget a treat on Sunday at Broadway, silent sci-fi classic, Aelita: Queen of Mars, will be brought to life by the sublime Origamibiro as part of Nottingham Contemporary's Star City public programme.
