Tether

Tether Studios consists of a mixture of visual artists who graduated from Nottingham Trent University in July 2007, plus practitioners from other backgrounds, whose interests range from curation, performance and fine arts. The studio is a creative hub for all the elements of Tether to convene within Nottingham city centre.

Tether formed out of a desire to stay in Nottingham and maintain the work ethic and sense of community that formed whilst studying at NTU. This has encouraged its members to support the development of each otherʼs professional practises during the past year.

Current members of Tether are: Liam Aitken, Hugh Dichmont, Tim Dixon, Joe Hardy, Benjamin Hargrave, Chie Hosaka, Samuel Mercer, Hattie Startin, Cassandra Thompson, Tom Wingrove.
