LAB

LAB is a creative and open space for experimentation, collaboration, exchange and critical play between artists, creative producers, curators, hackers, designers, makers, bakers and social agitators within the city. LAB aims to uncover and explore shared questions, methods, desires, needs, ideas and idioms that affect creative practice within the region. A space to learn, make, do and hack almost anything.  We operate as a community laboratory for ideas, projects and creative development and aim to be a centre for open, collaborative R&D.

LAB currently runs monthly workshop sessions but wants to connect with practitioners across the city, if you are interested in becoming involved in LAB and shaping what it will become we are going to be hosting monthly open space meetings to direct and organise the project, this is an invitation.  For more information about LAB, join the community online at Meetup or visit our blog.
