General Information

The Bohunk Institute is an independent project space, set in the heart of Nottingham's vibrant 'Creative Quarter'.

Built upon the city's rich history of artist led spaces, the Institute exists to further support the professional development of emerging to mid-career artists and creatives.

With our diverse calendar of short term residencies, the Institute encourages visual, theoretical and curatorial experimentation with a view to provoking further considerations and reflections on the artistic process as a whole.

The development of these process-led residencies will be documented and supported by a programme of talks, will provide a platform for critique in regards to the function of the institute and how work is produced, presented and experienced.
