Annexinema

Annexinema is a peripatetic and autonomous events-based group committed to programming visionary and experimental artists' work in sound, moving image and related performance primarily in the East Midlands, but increasingly nationwide.

The group operates on a not-for-profit basis and works outside traditional contexts, with emphasis on attracting a diverse audience who may not necessarily attend similar events in a cinema or gallery. Events are typically ad-hoc, informal and site-responsive, combining works by local and upcoming artists with those by internationally recognised figures and influential historical works.
