Carnival of Monsters: call out for Artists

The multi-arts festival CARNIVAL OF MONSTERS, set to be held in October 2011 at the Bartons site in Chilwell, Notts, is now inviting artists living and working in the East Midlands to submit ambitious proposals for exhibiting exciting new works. The projected event has already attracted a massive response from regional artists as work begins on preparing the site. The festival is intended to  host works of large-scale sculpture and painting, live art, photography, installation, film, video, dance, music etc. It is hoped that the festival will provide a much-needed platform for professional artists in the region to showcase their work, and  proposals are encouraged in any medium from individuals and groups. There will be an opportunity for artists to visit the site to view the spaces available, which are very large and provide a variety of possibilities.
