Spring into spring with a Big Green Weekend
In Collaboration with space for life’s Big green weekend on Saturday 27th & Sun 28th February The Hopkinson gallery, TAO are opening the gallery doors and inviting all artists working around the theme of the environment to submit work for our open submission exhibition.
The aim of the show is to create an exhibition that creates awareness of the environment and celebrates artists working around the themes of the environment and recycling. As an organisation we also aim to provide opportunity to for aspiring artists to exhibit their work and to give the public the chance to view, and purchase exciting and affordable new work.
Whatever the work may be. Any size, any shape any format.
Eligibility
To qualify for entry, you must be working in or around the themes of environment, recycling, transitions, sharing, land or similar themes.
Entry
Each artist can submit up to five works. All Entries accepted in the form of
Painting, sculpture, drawings, prints, photographs, craft, Installation, video, music and performance etc…
All works must remain in the gallery until the close of the exhibition, unless sold.
Work submission fee
There is a fee of £10.00 per work submitted (50% discount for TAO members- membership forms available on request) All fees must be paid at the same time as submission.
Concessions – students and unemployed 50% discount with valid proof.
The entry fee is not refundable (Cheques made payable to Tao East Midlands).
All submissions to be delivered in person to:
Hopkinson Gallery, TAO, 21 station street, Nottingham, NG2 3AJ
From 8th February up until 22nd february between 9.00am – 5.00pm
