The SYNAPSE festival 2010

Saira Lloyd

The SYNAPSE visual arts festival aims to profile the work of emerging artists from the three cities of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham in order to create an environment where talent is supported and creativity is allowed to flourish.

Just as a SYNAPSE acts an interface between a nerve and a cell, to create activity, the SYNAPSE festival aims to create exciting cultural activity in the region by working with creative and inspiring artists.

In addition to the opportunity of showing work in some of the most prominent exhibition spaces in the region, you will also be professionally marketed through the venues and through a specific SYANAPSE website, leaflets, posters and catalogues. These will be available for portfolios.

Related activities include: Exhibition preview, Artist Talks, Exhibition tours, Workshops and a Post Graduate symposium.
